Greenwood Farms
Greenwood Farms was established in 1980 by Gary & Cindy Greenwood. They began raising bottle calves, hogs, beef cows, and chickens. By 1990, they were going full speed with the dairy, but then drought hit and left the farm with no hay, no grass, and grain prices that became too high to sustain. They then decided to sell most of our dairy cows, keeping only forty.
Throughout the years, however, they have expanded to a much larger range of animals from more beef cows to hogs, chickens, turkey, and ducks, even! They also have horses, mules, and a llama named Ben. Their purpose is to deliver the highest quality of free range chicken and duck eggs, beef, pork, lamb, goat, and poultry products available. Greenwood Farms process all of their own meats and their USDA processing plant in Big Cabin, OK. Because the chickens and turkey’s are processed on their farm, they need to be pre-ordered.
We love being vendors at the Tulsa Farmers’ Market so we can supply the surrounding communities with the most fresh and natural products around. Greenwood Farms would like to thank all of our loyal customers at the market!
