✨Vendor Spotlight AND Sponsor Highlight!! ✨

Meet Amy & Michael Roark of Roark Acres Honey Farms, a true powerhouse in the local food scene!

What once started as a 2 hive hobby for Michael has since become a thriving business, employing 11 individuals and producing the most local honey in the entire state! Roark Acres is a family-owned and operated apiary with over 2000 colonies across 6 Oklahoma counties: Tulsa, Osage, Creek, Okmulgee, Wagoner & Rogers.

They produce local honey from wildflowers and clover, and beeswax products. All of the honey is raw and unpasteurized, bottled exactly the way the bees made it. It is now available at 2 different farmers’ markets, in 90 retailers across the state (including 18 Reasors!!), and at every state fair and trade show under the sun including Affair of the Heart, Vintage Market Days, and the Tulsa Home & Garden Show!

But that’s not all!! They even have their own shop on Main Street in Jenks, America! At their store, you can find their products and much, much more! Michael and Amy are passionate local producers and support other small, local entrepreneurs at every chance they get! You can find 35 MIO businesses in their store and a bunch of other fun bee-inspired products as well. When you stop in their store you can easily see how Amy earned the title of Queen Bee of Retail!

Amy & Michael also show their support of the local food system by supporting the Tulsa Farmers’ Market as a business sponsor and Michael has served on the Tulsa Farmers’ Market Board of Directors for nearly a decade! We deeply appreciate their contributions to our community and their dedication to local food and Oklahoma businesses!

So if you are looking for truly LOCAL honey or if you are in need of fabulous local products outside of farmers market hours, check out Roark Acres! And, of course, you can come to see them at the Tulsa Farmers’ Market THIS Saturday!

That's right, we are already making plans for the HOLIDAYS!!! And, we invite you to be apart of it! We are now accepting applications from local artists, creators, crafters, and producers. Click here to apply today!

Thank you and see you at the Market!
